Deerfield Beach, FL – The producers of Great Taste, an innovative, educational series, are pleased to announce that they will feature BabyNew, Inc. in a segment on “Newborn Essentials,” as part of the show’s “Fashion Forward” series.
The first year of a baby’s life is filled with many “firsts.” From a precious little one’s first step, to the utterance of his or her first word, these milestone events are certainly worth celebrating. Created by Debra Malek, BabyNew, an upscale online baby boutique, celebrates life’s firsts.
"I realized that one thing all parents and relatives had in common, was the excitement of the daily changes and growth in an infant’s life, and the desire to share them with everyone they knew," says the entrepreneur and mother of two. "With so many families living miles apart, this is an easy way to share and mark those one-time events of an infant’s life with something that will last for years to come."
Inspired 25 years ago when her daughters Jessi and Kelly were babies, Debra conceived the idea of BabyNew. She recently brought that idea to fruition, and today, Debra and her daughters work together developing new ways for parents and families to celebrate life’s firsts.
The dragonfly was a natural fit for the line as it serves as a symbol of that spirit of celebration on BabyNew products. It is a part of thier brand and can be found on every product they produce. BabyNew products include everything from adorable hats for the babies and elegant ball caps for the moms, to fun photo key chains and magnets, to beautifully designed stationery and exquisitely appointed first year gift baskets. The first year gift baskets, designed for boys and girls, include seven different 10-pack announcements, celebrating the exciting events of the baby’s first year.
The segment, which will be filmed on location in San Diego, California, will introduce viewers to the BabyNew line of products, and will include interviews with Debra and her daughters.
